I don’t know my actual limits and I don’t really care to find them.
I always end it while I’m still OK. The hunger pain usually subsides on the 3rd day. I went 5 days and then gradually transitioned into a diet. I could’ve went longer, but I didn’t want to shock my system from suddenly eating when I got to Europe.
Also, I still drank coffee and got a caffeine boost.
Also, I only really do this on vacation so that stress from work and school don’t wear me out faster. (Plus, hungry dizzy spells and driving don’t mix.) Furthermore, I let someone know what I’m doing so that people don’t freak out.
But days 3 - 5 I was active and feeling perfectly fine and unhungry.
Anyways, LET IT BE KNOWN, I don’t use fasting as a weight loss tactic. (Especially since you’ll trigger starvation mode.) I use it as a detox and discipline tactic. Because that’s how my body and psyche works FOR ME. So I can’t really predict how long anyone will last, especially since I’m on the higher end of my BMI and have plenty of fat to live off of.

I’m back…and 130.5 lbs
And it’s time for another fast.
I developed a mini-following for my fasting tips, and then dropped of the face of the world when I went to Germany.
The good news is that while I didn’t quite achieve my goal before I left. I surpassed it while in Germany.
But now I’ve been back for several months and I’ve gained it back from the rigors of full time academics.
Currently, I am 130.5 pounds.
I want to get back to the 120’s, and I definitely want to get back on track with exercise when I get back to my apartment where I’ll have gym equipment.
For now, I’m gonna start with a fast to kickstart my discipline as well as detox.
Anyways fast began around 3:00pm on Jan. 4, 2012.

On the bright-side, I may just be gaining muscle. I have exercised almost every day since my fast ended, and I was able to get my shorts on my fat ass without struggling.
